Montigus Jackson, LMHC, CAMS

Montigus Jackson is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Anger Management Specialist specializing in adolescents and adults for individual, couples, and family therapy. With the convenience of telehealth, Monte, as he prefers to be called, provides mental health services to the entire state of Florida.

As a graduate of Walden University and with almost 20 years of experience in the mental health, substance abuse, and social service fields he is experienced in many areas which include relationship issues, at-risk youth, emotional disturbances (depression and anxiety), and substance addictions.

Monte is an interactive therapist using an eclectic approach to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. He integrates complimentary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, he works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

Monte believes in working collaboratively with his clients by listening to them, showing support, and sharing feedback to increase self-awareness. It is important to him when working with his clients that he listens with empathy, without judgment, so they feel safe engaging in therapeutic activities, talk, and family therapy. Monte helps his clients develop essential tools to overcome both everyday and unexpected life challenges. His goal is to meet each client where they are in life and empower them to move forward with new confidence, boldness, passion, and purpose.
