Andrea Adkins M. Ed, RMHCI
Andrea is a Registered Clinical Mental Health Intern, with 9 years of experience as a K–12 school counselor and a strong background in supporting students, families, and communities. Over the course of my career, I have worked closely with children and adolescents navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, academic stress, and family transitions. These years of experience in education gave me a deep understanding of the unique needs of young people and the importance of equipping them with tools to thrive both in and outside the classroom.
My current practice is focused on maternal mental health. I am passionate about walking alongside women through pregnancy, postpartum, and the many transitions of motherhood. In addition, I continue to provide counseling for adolescents and adults managing anxiety, depression, and life changes, as well as career and personal development support.
I believe healing and growth are most powerful when care is both holistic and research-based. My approach integrates evidence-based interventions with faith-based and whole-person practices, always tailored to the individual or couple. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel empowered to live intentionally, cultivate resilience, and experience life more fully.
