Mandisa Gilliam, MA, RMHCI
Mandisa Gilliam (she/her/hers) holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Psychology. She is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern in Florida and is currently pursuing LPC-A licensure in South Carolina. Mandisa brings over 25 years of healthcare experience, having worked directly with patients to address both health and financial needs across office, hospital, and virtual settings.
Driven by a deep passion for people and their unique differences, Mandisa transitioned into the mental health field in 2018. Throughout her professional journey, she has worked with teens, young adults, adults, and seniors in both individual and group therapy. Her experience includes couples counseling, career counseling, substance abuse counseling, Veterans Disability support, and Rehabilitative Behavioral Therapy.
Mandisa has a special passion for families and young adult women. She finds fulfillment in supporting couples as they build strong foundations for their families and offers compassionate guidance to young women as they navigate identity, growth, and life transitions.
Mandisa integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Mindfulness- and Acceptance-Based therapies. She is dedicated to helping clients identify their challenges and take meaningful steps toward improved well-being and fulfillment.
Mandisa is direct and embraces the work of change, while creating a space where clients feel safe, comfortable, and free from judgment. She leads with attentive listening and compassion, with the ultimate goal of empowering clients to leave therapy feeling confident, resilient, and ready to engage the world with clarity and purpose.
